All Animal Veterinary Services started providing care to the animals of the Sunshine Coast just over 40 years ago. Founded by Dr Kim Evans in 1979 on Mapleton Rd, then in 2007 along with his colleague Dr Vicki Barker moved to our current location in Rigby St Nambour. Back when the clinic was first established, the Nambour area was quite rural and it was common to see all animals from horses, sheep and cows to cats, dogs, guinea pigs and the list goes on. Now that the Sunshine Coast is more developed and less rural we find ourselves seeing much less large animals and more small domestic pets and small hobby farm animals. In 2019 Dr Vicki Barker headed for retirement and not long following so did Dr Kim Evans. All Animal Veterinary Services is currently owned by our two practice principles, Dr Chris Pearson and Dr Sian Hillard who pride themselves on providing outstanding services to our community. We have seen some great veterinarians throughout their careers and to their retirement, and also welcomed new vets and nurses to begin their journey with our team.
Our veterinarians are experienced capable practitioners who pride themselves in quality work and who keep up to date with the latest developments within the veterinary science industry. Our veterinary nurses, receptionists and groomer are highly regarded for their ability to help both our clients and their animals. They are fully trained in many aspects of animal care and regularly attend courses and seminars, thus enhancing their skills and knowledge.
We offer high quality veterinary services for dogs, cats, small pocket pets such as guinea pigs, rats etc and any transportable farm animals such as sheep, goats and calves. In addition to normal veterinary services, we offer pet grooming, puppy preschools and pre-export preparation procedures for pets.
Our mission is to provide, with care and compassion, veterinary services of the highest standard for our patients through every stage of their life. We understand that animals are an important member of the family and thus deserve the most optimal care possible. We feel that the animal-human bond is crucial to human health and happiness, so we strive to ensure that we look after the welfare of the animal to the very best of our ability. We have high expectations of ourselves, so we aim to do the very best for you and your animals.
